Zinpro Corporation Promotes Dr. Timur Akmaliev to Regional Manager – Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States

– Zinpro Corporation, the industry leader in performance trace mineral nutrition for livestock, poultry, aquaculture and companion animals, today announced that Timur Akmaliev, Ph.D., has been promoted to regional manager – Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). In his new role, Dr. Akmaliev will lead the company’s business growth and development for CIS and Russian customers. 

 

Dr. Akmaliev joined Zinpro in October 2017 as country manager for Russia and CIS. As country manager, in addition to establishing the Russia and CIS regional business, he and his team have focused on demonstrating the value of Zinpro Performance Minerals® through customer validation trials. The result has been that customers are able to increase their profitability through improved animal performance.

Based in Moscow, Dr. Akmaliev brings to the position 15 years of experience in the animal nutrition business in Russia and CIS. He earned his doctorate in agricultural poultry and animal nutrition from Volgograd State Agricultural University in Russia.

 

Assuming the role on August 1, Dr. Akmaliev was promoted to the position which was formerly held by Boudewijn Mys. During his career with Zinpro, Mys held several leadership positions and retired on July 31.
