During Sept. 28-30, the Delmarva Poultry Industry Inc. trade association, will host its 55th National Meeting on Poultry Health, Processing and Live Production, and this year’s event will go virtual. Global poultry breeding company Aviagen will support the event as a Platinum sponsor, and two Aviagen poultry specialists will share their insight with attendees. Dr. Grant Mason, Aviagen Program Geneticist, will lead a discussion on how to
promote leg health in birds, and how Aviagen selects for birds with strong bone and
leg health. In addition, Eddy van Lierde, Aviagen Incubation Specialist, will speak on
best incubation practices that result in high-quality chicks.

Aviagen’s U.S. Sales Manager Jeremy Martin works closely with Delmarva and

power of allying with organizations such as Delmarva and together working toward
the common good of the poultry meat industry,” remarked Martin.
