The 2021 edition of Chicken Marketing Summit, hosted by WATT Global Media, is scheduled for July 18-20, 2021, at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

“The COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting shutdowns of schools, businesses and foodservice outlets caused an enormous shift in how U.S. consumers purchased food,” said Terrence O’Keefe, content director, WATT Global Media. “The entire chicken supply chain had to adapt to this shift to more retail, ecommerce and home delivery, and less total foodservice volume. Now with the country in vaccination mode, the Chicken Marketing Summit will shine a light on what consumers will be looking for in the post-pandemic world and how poultry marketers can find success in the post-pandemic marketplace.”

The 2021 edition features a new theme, “Charting post-pandemic success.” Globally recognized speakers and panelists will provide creative solutions for how chicken sales and marketing professionals can connect with the post-pandemic consumer and learn what’s next for retail and foodservice businesses.

The dynamic lineup of speakers include Chris DuBois, senior vice president and principal at IRI; Kelly Fechner, director of customer solutions for Datassential; Meagan Nelson, associated director of the fresh growth and strategy team for NielsenIQ; Joyce Neth, vice president, director of audience development and research with WATT Global Media; Kevin Ryan, CEO at Malachite Strategy and Research; Will Sawyer, lead animal protein economist at CoBank’s Knowledge Exchange; and Jim Sumner, president of USA Poultry and Egg Export Council.

In addition to essential educational sessions, the event will feature various in-person networking opportunities for attendees and will open on Sunday, July 18, with the traditional Bill Roenigk Chicken Marketing Summit golf tournament.

The annual Chicken Marketing Summit is produced in collaboration with the National Chicken Council and with support from the National Grocers Association and the National Poultry and Food Distributors Association.

Registration will open on April 5, 2021. Resort reservations are available now. For more information and to reserve your hotel room visit, ChickenMarketingSummit.com.
