Micronutrients announced its investment in a 6th dryer with an official grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a program and lunch at the Micronutrients plant.
“This expansion enables Micronutrients to bring in additional business opportunities and create new jobs within the community as the company meets demands in the trace minerals business,” commented Carla Jackson, production manager.
“The grand opening is a culmination of two years of development and construction and increases the plant’s drying capacity by 20%. The project team would like to recognize the Micronutrients Operations team for their active engagement and cooperation as we worked to deliver this significant expansion project. We also thank partners on the Nutreco Industrial Projects global engineering team and Forcum Lannom Contractors who have been instrumental in all of the significant installations over the last decade,” said Robert Boss, project manager.
Indianapolis business partners and neighbors were invited to the ceremony. Brian Rittgers, Micronutrients general manager as well as Remco Van Reenen, Global Feed Additives director, were among the attendees at the ribbon-cutting ceremony held in front of the 6th spray dryer.
Located at 1550 Research Way, Micronutrients is proud to be a part of the Indianapolis community and looks forward to supporting the community and local citizens.
