Foster Farms said Tuesday the company increased the entry-level hourly wage rate to $12.75 for employees at its Demopolis, Ala., plant, where it is looking to fill 60 positions.
The company also is offering earlier vacation time accrual, holiday vacation days from the first day of employment, comprehensive health care coverage, and disability and life insurance coverage.
“We want our Demopolis plant to be the best place to work in west central Alabama,” said Carl Barnes, Demopolis Plant Manager. “That means competitive wages and benefits, and a safe work environment.”
