NutriQuest announced today that Kim Friesen, Ph.D., will become President of NutriQuest, effective March 1. Dr. Friesen joined the company as Chief Scientific Officer in 2015 and has been instrumental in providing overall leadership to NutriQuest research and product development efforts in swine, broiler and dairy species, developing 15 commercial products and a substantial technology pipeline during his tenure.
“As Chief Scientific Officer, Kim has provided outstanding leadership in his area of R&D, but also overall leadership to our business as a key member of our Executive Team,” indicated NutriQuest CEO Steve Weiss. “Kim was instrumental in the recent sale of our commercial business and will capably lead the NutriQuest team to further our innovation capabilities, technology development and growth of our consulting services.” Dr. Friesen graduated with his Ph.D. in Swine Nutrition from Kansas State University. He currently resides in Carthage, Indiana with his wife Karen.
