Danielle Graham is an expert in poultry parasitology working to increase sustainability, reduce costs and improve animal well-being. As she helps train the next generation of scientists, she also loves seeing her students grow: “You can kind of watch them grow throughout their whole undergraduate career, and I’ve enjoyed that a lot.”

Danielle Graham is an assistant professor of the department of poultry science. Her research focuses on poultry intestinal health, which is a major concern in the poultry industry to mitigate disease and avoid drug resistance. Graham said, “There is an urgent need for research to identify methods to prevent disease and improve poultry intestinal health and welfare.”
