Manila, Philippines, Dec. 28, 2023 — Cobb Philippines, a leading player in the poultry industry, celebrated its 20th anniversary on December 11, 2023. The milestone event commemorated two decades of continuous growth, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence in poultry breeding.
Established in 1988 as “Breeder Master Inc.,” a joint venture between Vitarich Corporation (Philippines) and Cobb-Vantress, Inc. (CVI), the company has undergone a transformative journey over the years. In 2003, Cobb-Vantress acquired the shares from Vitarich, consolidating its position as a wholly owned subsidiary.
Since 2003, Cobb has continued to invest in the Philippines poultry market by expanding hatchery capacity by nearly 300%. Parent Stock production has increased by almost 500% and there has been exponential growth in workforce of more than 3X.
