Leadership Transition at Moy Park: Kirke Departs as President

Chris Kirke, who has served as the president of Moy Park since 2018, is stepping down from his role, marking the end of a successful tenure with the company.

In a statement, Moy Park expressed gratitude for Kirke’s exceptional leadership during his six-year tenure, highlighting his significant contributions to the company’s growth and success. While Kirke’s departure comes as he pursues new opportunities, Moy Park acknowledges his dedicated service and wishes him well in his future endeavors.

Following Kirke’s departure, Moy Park’s U.S.-based parent company, Pilgrim’s Pride, has opted to consolidate Moy Park and Pilgrim’s U.K. into a single subsidiary, known as Pilgrim’s Europe. Ivan Siqueira, formerly the president of Pilgrim’s U.K., now leads this consolidated entity.

Kirke’s appointment to Moy Park in 2018 came shortly after Pilgrim’s Pride acquired the Northern Ireland-based poultry company. With over 26 years of experience in the food industry, including leadership roles at Greencore Group’s U.S. division, Kirke brought valuable expertise to Moy Park. He succeeded Janet McCollum, who had been a part of Moy Park for 25 years.

Pilgrim’s Pride has been expanding its presence in Europe in recent years, with strategic acquisitions such as Tulip Limited (subsequently renamed Pilgrim’s U.K.) in 2019 and Randall Parker Foods, a U.K.-based lamb business, two years later.

Ivan Siqueira, who assumed leadership of Pilgrim’s Europe, joined Pilgrim’s Pride in 2022 after serving as an executive director at Seara Foods, a prominent Brazilian food company affiliated with JBS, much like Pilgrim’s Pride. His extensive experience in the industry positions him well to guide the company through its evolving European operations.
