Introducing the G3 Grow Beyond Scholarship

G3, in partnership with Agriculture in the Classroom Canada, is proud to present an exciting new scholarship opportunity.

The G3 Grow Beyond Scholarship will be presented for the first time in 2020, to six high school students who are embarking on a post-secondary education and have innovative ideas for agriculture in Canada.

Six scholarships of $4,000 are available to students across Canada looking to study in any discipline, and an additional $1,000 will be given to the winners’ high schools. In order to apply, students must submit a two- to four-minute video essay describing their vision for the future of agriculture in Canada and how they see themselves contributing to that vision.

“The G3 Grow Beyond Scholarship will help put the next generation of innovators in agriculture on the path to success,” says G3 CEO Don Chapman. “We’re proud to partner with Agriculture in the Classroom Canada to make this opportunity available in farming communities across Canada.”

“AITC-C is thrilled to be collaborating with G3 to bring this amazing opportunity to Canadian students,” says Johanne Ross, Executive Director of AITC-C. “Careers in agriculture are so diverse, and this initiative encourages exploration of that diversity. The G3 Grow Beyond Scholarship will inspire and develop agri-food’s leaders and innovators of the future!”

Applications for the G3 Grow Beyond Scholarship are due by April 1st, 2020. For full details, and to apply, visit g3growbeyond.org.

Submissions will be judged by a panel of industry professionals, and the public via online voting.
