Canton, Ohio-based poultry processor Case Foods Inc. recently announced key leadership appointments, signaling a strategic move towards expansion. Chuck McDaniel has been appointed as the President and Chief Operating Officer, while Brian Roberts assumes the role of Chief Commercial Officer, effective immediately.
McDaniel brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served in various capacities at Case Foods from 2003 to 2012. His expertise spans across the industry, including significant roles such as Vice President and General Manager for the company’s Ohio operations and Director of Commodity Sales. Over the past 12 years, McDaniel excelled as Vice President of Account Management at Agri Stats. His career also includes notable positions at Columbia Farms, Gold Kist, and Koch Foods.
Roberts, who joined Case Foods in 2016 as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, brings his extensive background in senior sales management from companies like Gold Kist, Marshall Durbin, Mar-Jac, and Tyson. In his new capacity as Chief Commercial Officer, Roberts will spearhead the sales and marketing initiatives, oversee quality and food safety measures, manage plant purchasing, and drive the company’s growth strategies.
Case Foods, known for processing 3.8 million birds per week, is a significant player in the industry, employing over 3,500 individuals. With an annual production exceeding 1.1 billion pounds of fresh, partially cooked, and frozen-for-export poultry products, the company operates in Ohio and North Carolina, boasting a strong presence in key poultry markets.
