Following a successful first series and continued  demand for expertise in the industry, Cobb will host a second “Cobb Talks” webinar series. Running weekly  from April through June, anyone in the poultry industry is invited to attend. The series will cover three topics  specifically requested by attendees of the previous series: ventilation, hatchery, and health.

Cobb received more than 2,000 registrations for the first “Cobb Talks” series in November. Exit surveys  indicated the industry is still hungry for more. Cobb remains committed to staying connected with customers  and providing expertise during these difficult times. As travel restrictions across the world remain and returning  to normality varies throughout the world, Cobb responds.

“I don’t think many of us anticipated a year ago that we would still face the current travel restrictions and  continued challenges,” said Nigel Strain, senior regional manager of technical service at Cobb Europe. “There  is a light at the end of the tunnel. In the meantime, we are committed to doing all we can to support and  engage with our customers and our industry.”

The weekly sessions will cover a different topic of interest for each month. April sessions will focus on  ventilation, May’s on hatchery, and June’s on health. The sessions will focus on specific subjects within these  topic areas, such as warm weather ventilation, egg quality, hatchery troubleshooting, farm hygiene and  cleanout, hen mortality in lay, and more.

Industry-leading technical specialists from Cobb Europe and the Cobb World Technical Team will teach the  audience best practices and skills in these areas. Cobb experts like Andrew Bourne, broiler specialist; Brendan  Graaf, broiler specialist; Mark Foote, hatchery specialist; and Andre Derkx, senior veterinarian, will appear  several times throughout the series alongside fellow Cobb specialists with deep technical expertise.

After each session, attendees will be able participate in a live Q&A with the expert to continue learning. They  will also have access to the recording and earn a certificate of attendance to demonstrate their enhanced skills.  Nigel Strain, senior regional manager of technical services, and Paul Welten, senior technical service team  manager, will host.

“The first ‘Cobb Talks’ series was extremely valuable and I cannot wait to attend the next one to learn more on  these important topics,” said Muhammed Maliki, head of quality assurance – agriculture, Moy Park. “I really  appreciate that the Cobb Europe Technical Team is finding ways to stay connected with me and share  valuable knowledge despite the challenge of travel restrictions.”

The series is open to anyone in the industry wishing to learn the latest best practices on these topics. To see  the full program, visit www.cobb.vantress.com/webinars/emea.
