The Western Meeting of Poultry Clinicians and Pathologists (WMPCP) is entering its twenty-ninth year. The success of the previous meetings allows us to predict an equally successful and informative WMPCP on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018.
WMPCP was established 29 years ago as a platform for case reports and burning questions, a format that proved to be successful and popular. British Columbia is home to a vibrant poultry industry and a highly regarded AAVLD accredited Provincial diagnostics laboratory. The density of the poultry industry in BC offers a great opportunity for veterinarians and poultry experts to visit poultry operations and businesses, including feed manufacturers and hatcheries. For these reasons, Abbotsford has been an excellent location for WMPCP.
In recent years, attendance at WMPCP has been expanded to include other poultry scientists, including nutritionists, engineers, and geneticists, who focus on disease prevention strategies.
Please find below your registration information as well as a call for case reports for WMPCP 29. This will be held at the Quality Hotel and Conference Center at 36035 North Parallel Road in Abbotsford, BC. The registration fee for WMPCP has been waived for 2018. A working lunch is sponsored for meeting participants. We trust you will continue to support WMPCP this May.
The agenda for WMPCP will follow the format of previous years and will begin with case reports. Our ever-popular, informal “Burning Question Period” will follow, with interesting and, hopefully, controversial topics for an in-depth discussion.
To register please go to our website www.canadianpoultry.ca and follow the Westvet link or feel free to use the following direct link:www.regonline.com/westvet29
