Seventy-five people have tested positive at the Foster Farms facility in Stanislaus County since the start of the pandemic, the company said Wednesday.
Of those 75 cases, 43 have already returned to work, Foster Farms officials said.
The company conducted two rounds of COVID-19 testing from Sept. 3 to Sept. 11 among its 1,199 workers in the Turlock facility, officials said.
Foster Farms also tested its Fresno facility, which reported 158 positive coronavirus cases and two COVID-19-related deaths among its 2,612 employees. Of those, 75 have returned to work, officials said.
The company said it is continuing to implement COVID-19 precautions, which include temperature checks, partitioning work and break areas, and providing face masks to employees.
