Fremont, Neb.-based Lincoln Premium Poultry recognized three local families as their top poultry producers in the company’s inaugural annual awards ceremony. The poultry supplier to Costco Wholesale Club Corp. recognized the Oster Family of County Line Growers in Pottawattamie County, Iowa, as top pullet producer, the Fehlhafer Family of 2JF Poultry in Seward County, Neb., as top breeder producer and the Borchers Family of Borchers Farm in Seward County, Neb., as top broiler producer. The processor also named the Schmid Family of RC Chicken Ranch in Butler County, Neb., as recipient of its first Environmental Award, Lincoln Premium Poultry said in a news release.
