The Cooperative Extension offices in McLean, Grayson and Ohio Counties are teaming up to host a crucial breakfast meeting on Friday, July 26, 2024, aimed at aiding local poultry farmers in mastering hot weather management for their chicken houses. The event will be held at the Ohio County Extension Office, located at 1337 Clay St. in Hartford.
Breakfast is scheduled for 7 a.m. with the program beginning at 7:30 a.m. Michael Czarick, a respected extension engineer from the University of Georgia, will be the guest speaker. Known for his extensive knowledge of poultry environmental management, Czarick will provide valuable insights and techniques to maintain optimal conditions inside poultry houses during the challenging summer months.
