USPOULTRY Releases Supervisor Safety Training Class

The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY) has released a new “Supervisor Safety Training” class through its Learning Management System (LMS). This eight-part supervisor safety training covers supervisory responsibilities for safety and health, incident investigation, lockout/tagout procedures, walking-working surfaces and fall protection, hazard communication, the use of personal protective equipment, machine guarding, emergency preparedness and ergonomics.

This training provides basic skills for managing employee safety and health. The training also complements the Introduction to Management Training Program on the USPOULTRY LMS.

USPOULTRY develops employee training programs in biosecurity practices, environmental concerns, transportation safety, workplace safety and more. These resources are made available complimentary to USPOULTRY members as a benefit membership.
